Comfy Campers offers 4 beautiful restored campervans for hire. By midsummer, their latest campervan will be ready to hire. Dennis is the newest addition to the family.

1. Lilly is a 1973 Type 2 Volkswagen Westfalia campervan. Lilly is over 37 years old, making her tax exempt. She is sage green under white and has been called Lilly by her previous owners. Lilly is a traditional air-cooled Type 2 VW Westfalia campervan and is a right-hard drive. The campervan is equipped with a ‘pop-up’ roof which is raised during camping. Lilly seats and sleeps five. She has two double beds, one is the Rock n Roll bed and the other is the ‘pop-top’ roof. There is also a hammock that fits across the front cab seats. This is suitable for one child only.
2. Sunny is 1974 classic VW Type 2 Bay window camper van, lovingly restored for your comfort and pleasure, to ensure happy memories and photo opportunities for your holiday. She is primrose yellow under white – with her bright colouring you feel like she has brought the sunshine too! The camper is equipped with a ‘pop-up’ roof which is raised during camping. She seats & sleeps four. Sunny is right hand drive and is powered by a two litre naturally aspirated air cooled engine. She enjoys barbecues on the beach and nights under the stars!
3. Betty Blue is a 1983 VW Type 25 campervan. Betty Blue has grown up in the Cotswolds and is always up for an adventure. The VW campervan is sky blue under white – a gentle beauty, there’s nothing ugly about our Betty Blue. She is right hand drive and is powered by a two litre naturally aspirated water cooled boxer engine. Betty Blue has a fixed high top roof and seats and sleeps
4. Dennis is a 1976 Devon Type 2 camper van. He is sky blue under white after its complete respray, engine rebuild, new interior and much more.  He is a tradional air-cooled Type 2 VW Camper Van and is right-hand drive.  Dennis is equipped with a ‘pop-up’ roof which is raised during camping.  He seats & sleeps five.

Autumn weekends in a VW Camper Van

At Comfy Campers we have three beautifully restored right hand drive campervans for hire: 2 classic VW Type 2 bay window Campervans and 1 VW Type 25 camper van. The camper vans have all been lovingly restored and generously equipped – with some ingenuity.  There is a sink, a fridge, a two-burned hob, a whistling kettle and tightly packed cupboards full over everything you could possible need on your trip.  We have gone to extraordinary lengths to maintain the original integrity of each Volkswagen camper van and then carefully popped in some funky 21st century features that we feel will enhance your whole VW camper van hire experience with unique interiors styled to suite each individual VW campervan.

Lilly our newest Volkswagen campervan has her own independent heating system that works off the engine when you are camped for the night at one of the many Caravan and Camping Sites, ensuring that you can enjoy the evenings without the chill.  So much better than a chilly and drafty tent!
